Serve | Project Back-to-School Backpacks

When I was in school, I was…well…kind of nerdy.
I know you’re shocked.
I looked forward to the start of school every year, and I loved getting new school supplies. I mean, I GEEKED OUT over school supplies. Possibly all the way through college. Who doesn’t love a new notebook?
Well, many children living in poverty don’t have the chance to geek out over school supplies, because they can’t afford them. It makes it much harder to succeed in school when you don’t even have the basic tools needed. That’s where the Monkey Do Project comes in.
We need your help to send 50 backpacks full of school supplies to Clay County, West Virginia. You can find more information on the Monkey Do Project website, but here is what we need:
25 School Age Backpack Donations

Donations are needed by August 1st, 2012 to allow the backpacks to arrive before school starts.
Please consider helping in any way you can. If you can’t afford to donate or fill a backpack, consider sharing this post with your friends and on your social networks.
